APC Accuses PDP Of Manufacturing PVCs Ahead November Elections

Mr Yekini Nabena, the Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress has accused the PDP of manufacturing PVCs.

He said PDP in  Bayelsa is manufacturing fake Permanent Voter Cards PVCs with a view to subverting the electoral process.

Nabena in a statement Friday in Abuja said the PDP is in possession of 47 Smart Card Readers. Mr Nabena also said thugs stole 47 card readers during the last general elections.

Nabena said the PDP has codenamed the fake PVCs “Biafra Card”.. And that some of them have been warehoused in the residence of a top government official in Odoni Ward 8.

Odoni Ward 8 is at Sagbama local government area.

Nabena said: “INEC recovered only 22 from 69 stolen card readers during 2019 Presidential and National Assembly elections in Bayelsa.

”The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC retrieved 22 out of the 69 stolen by political thugs.

“The PDP and Governor Dickson are planning to configure the 47 smart card readers still in their possession.

With the fake PVCs in PDP possession, they are currently mass-producing.

I call on our security and intelligence agencies to urgently carry out strategic raids to stop their illegal operations.

Police should retrieve the smart card readers and mop up the fake PVCs codenamed “Biafra card.”

Nabena said that the governor cannot continue to hide under the cloak of immunity to commit sundry infractions.

“We call on President Buhari to urgently direct security agencies and anti-corruption agencies to come to the aid of Bayelsans.
