The first appointment of aides was made by Lagos State Governor, Bababjide Sanwo-Olu, who re-appointed Tayo Ayinde as Chief of Staff, CoS.
Sanwo-Olu, who made the announcement on state television on Thursday, also named Barr. Bimbola Salu-Hundeyin as Secretary to the State Government, SSG.
Salu-Hundeyin, a Supreme Court of Nigeria advocate and solicitor, succeeded the previous SSG, Mrs. Folashade Jaji, a former Lagos State Head of Service. She was the Lagos Commissioner of the National Population Commission, NPC, until her latest appointment.

Sanwo-Olu is anticipated to select more members of the State Executive Council soon. According to reports, the administration would restore roughly 70% of the last executive to the second-term cabinet.
Mr. Gboyega Soyanwo was also reappointed as Deputy Chief of Staff by the governor.
Among those returning are: Gbenga Omotoso, Commissioner for Information and Strategy; Moruf Akinderu-Fatai, MAF; Special Adviser to the Governor on Works and Infrastructure; Engr. Aramide Adeyoye; Special Adviser on Education; Tokunbo Wahab, among others.
Meanwhile, there are strong indications that former SSG and Commissioner for Environment Tunji Bello will not be returning because he has accepted a federal post in Abuja under President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
