While the People’s Democratic Power and the All Progressive Congress wait the gubernatorial judgment of the Tribunal, there are visible presence of heavy security in the court premises.
Police and other security operatives had cordoned off the linking roads to the premises of the tribunal. They have mounted roadblocks along the Ahmadu Bello Way in Bauchi to prevent miscreants and other hoodlums from entry.

Supporters of both the PDP and APC in the state were at the court premises waiting for the judgement.
Bauchi state Commissioner of Police, Habu Sani, had earlier warned supporters against going close to the tribunal premises.
”The action was due to the alleged plans to disrupt the tribunal proceedings,” he said.
Sani said that the police command will not hesitate to deal with anyone caught trying to cause trouble at the court.
