Crossdresser Responds to Allegations Over Controversial Audio Recording

Controversial crossdresser Idris ‘Bobrisky’ Okuneye has firmly denied allegations of defamation brought against him by prominent human rights lawyer Femi Falana and his son, rapper Falz. The allegations stem from an audio recording that surfaced last month, in which Bobrisky purportedly claimed to have given the Falana family N10 million to secure a presidential pardon for his recent conviction.

Denial of Allegations

In response to the claims, Bobrisky has categorically rejected the voice in the recording as his own. He stated, “I, Okuneye Idris, aka Bobrisky, didn’t give Falz or his dad any money for pardon. As a matter of fact, no penny was given to them.” This strong denial comes after the Falanas demanded a retraction and public apology, issuing a 12-hour ultimatum through a cease-and-desist letter from their legal representatives at Falana and Falana’s Chambers.

Social Media Response

Following the demands from the Falana family, Bobrisky took to Instagram to assert his position. He maintained that he had not made any defamatory statements and stood by his denial of the allegations. “The person that published an audio online should take full responsibility for what he posted in public,” he emphasized, suggesting that any claims of defamation should be directed toward the original publisher of the audio, not him.

Ongoing Legal Tensions

The situation underscores the ongoing tensions between Bobrisky and the Falanas as they navigate the implications of the alleged defamatory audio. As the matter unfolds, both parties appear poised for a potential legal confrontation, raising questions about the boundaries of free speech and defamation in the age of social media.
