Buhari Extends Condolences to Akinyele’s Family, Ondo People

President Muhammadu Buhari has commiserated with the family of former Minister of Information, Chief Alex Akinyele. Alex Akinyele passed on Thursday night.

Mr Femi Adesina, the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity on Friday conveyed his condolence of President Buhari.

President Buhari also extended his condolences to the people of Ondo State for the loss of their illustrious son,

Mr Buhari said Ondo people should solace in the lasting legacies of the former colourful minister, Akinyele.

Buhari said that Akinyele’s scrupulousness, discipline and diligence were always obvious to those who worked closely with him.

And his love for the nation, which was zealously demonstrated through providing exemplary leadership.

Buhari prayed that God grants the soul of the former minister eternal rest, and comfort all members of his family.

Akinyele, who died at the age of 81, was a trained teacher and Public Relations Specialist.

And had also served as Chairman of National Sports Commission and Chairman of National Reconciliation Committee. (NAN)
