Buhari In Closed-Door Meeting With Service Chiefs

President Muhammadu Buhari is currently in a closed-door meeting with Service Chiefs at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa, Abuja to chart the way forward in Katsina crisis.

The Chief of Defence Staff, General Gabriel Olonisakin who led other service chiefs arrived at the seat of power at 08:50 GMT and proceeded straight to the Council Chambers.

President Buhari joined the meeting at 09:00 GMT and the meeting immediately went into a closed session.

The Service Chiefs will brief State House Correspondents at the end of the meeting.

Nigeria, in the last few months, has witnessed a rise in criminal activities of bandits, especially in the northwestern part of the country.
