The desperate former deputy governor of Ondo State, Agboola Ajayi, has dumped the People’s Democratic Party, to clinch the gubernatorial slot at the Zenith Labour Party(ZLP).
This decision to dump the PDP is coming less than 48 days after joined the party, believing he would get the guber ticket for the party.
Presently, Ajayi has been cleared by National Executive Committee of the ZLP to contest the election.
Ajayi explained that he resigned from the PDP due to call on him by a majority of the people of Ondo State to give hope to the hopeless, provide credible and purposeful leadership in the state.
The former deputy governor who spoke through his Media Adviser, Allen Sowore, urged his supporters to remain focused and committed, saying he would soon announce his next line of action.
He, however, appreciated the National Leadership and members of the PDP for their warm reception and acceptance in the short period he rejoined the party.
