Alhaji Faruk Umar, the Emir of Daura, has lauded Vice President Yemi Osinbajo for his loyalty and commitment to President Muhammadu Buhari.
News Agency of Nigeria reports that Osinbajo was in Daura for the turbanning ceremony of Buhari’s nephew, Alhaji Musa Haro.
Emir Umar honoured Haro with one of the Daura emirate’s highest traditional title, Danmadamin Daura.
Umar described Osibanjo as the most trustworthy vice president of Nigeria who has the best interest of Nigeria at heart.
Emir Umar said that the traditional institutions in the state would continue to identify with the Buhari-led administration.
”We gave Haro the turban as a district head without portfolio because of his contributions toward the emirate and Nigeria,” Umar said.
Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari and Secretary to the Federal Government, Mr Boss Mustapha, attended the turbanning.

Also, Governor Nasiru El Rufai, Deputy Governors of Jigawa, Sokoto, Zamfara, Yobe and Kano states attended the turbanning of Haro.
