Mr Sunday Dare, the Minister of Youths and Sports, has lauded Edo State Governor, Mr Godwin Obaseki, on the pace of work on the newly rebuilt Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium.
Dare specifically commended Obaseki for the standard of facilities at the newly rebuilt Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium ahead of the 20th edition of the National Sports Festival (NSF).
Mr Dare said this after inspecting the progress of work at the stadium. He was accompanied on the inspection tour by Governor Godwin Obaseki and the state Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Comrade Philip Shaibu.
He noted, “I can say the stadium is 90 per cent ready for the NSF.
The tracks are beautiful than before in November 2019 he said.

There have been consistent work to rebuild the stadium Godwin Obaseki said.
Governor Obaseki said he would be 100 per cent ready for the sport of this year.
