Lagos State has declared that the Italian, who is the index COVID-19 case in Nigeria, is now free of the virus.
Professor Akin Abayomi, the Commissioner of Health who disclosed this in Lagos, however, said that the Italian has to undergo a test before he can be finally declared negative.
