No fewer than seventeen students of Green Field University, Kaduna have been kidnapped on Tuesday by some yet to be identified gunmen.
Green Field University, situated along the Kaduna-Abuka Highway in Chikun Local Government Area.is the first private university in the state established about three years ago.
It was gathered the gunmen who invaded the campus on Tuesday fired several gunshots into the air, killed the security man before whisking the unspecified numbers of students away to an unknown destination.
Kaduna Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, confirmed the incident.
