Human Capital Revolution Is the Way Out of Our National Economic Challenges

The Chartered Institute of Human Resource Management (CIHRM); the foremost Institute, in the field of Human Resource Management, has inducted Rev Adetunji Adepoju , the President/Director General of Eden Global Business School (EGBS) as a Doctoral Fellow of the Institute on Saturday, 24th June, 2023.

This is in recognition of his notable and sterling contributions to the formation and development of human capital in the country, in the past 25 years, especially among youths and working professionals.

Rev Adepoju is an International Educational, Management and Strategy Consultant( IEMSC) and a Certified International Professional Manager (CIPM) with over 30 years vsried and diverse experience in Management and human capital development out of which the last 20 years have been devoted to set up, start up, operationalisation and functionalisation of higher education institutions for manpower and national economic development.

This award is based on stringent requirements and conditions by the Council of the Institute, including notable contributions to the development of the HR industry in the country and minimum 20 years continuous ,relevant post qualification experience in human resource management or allied disciplines.

Speaking at the Induction ceremony, the Registrar of the Institute,Dr Gbenga Eretan, charged the newly inducted Doctoral Fellow Members and other inductees to live up to the expectations of the nation from them by delivering world class HR solutions in their various fields of endeavors, in this critical period in the nation.

He further stressed the need for a higher level of responsibility and professionalism in the discharge of duties by the inductees as HR Professionals.

Speaking after the Induction, an elated Dr Adepoju asserted that the most viable and affordable route to Accelerated and Sustainable economic growth and prosperity , in the nation is human capital development.

He declared further that people are the wealth of the nation and deployment of measures, tools and programmes that will optimize the capacity and productivity of the people is the shortest route to economic transformation

He continued by declaring that, in the face of limiting and critically deficient and inadequate financial resources in the country, human capital led Sustainable development revolution is one of the most feasible options for Nigeria out of economic and developmental wilderness.

He further charged executive managers in the country to pay more attention to human capital development especially in the entry and middle level management cadre for national economic transformation.
