JAMB Announces Start Date for 2025 Direct Entry Applications

2025 UTME-Mock

Abuja, Nigeria – The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that the sales of 2025 Direct Entry (DE) application documents will commence on Wednesday, March 12, 2025. This opportunity is for candidates with degrees, diplomas, or A-level certificates who wish to advance their education at selected universities.

This announcement follows the successful conclusion of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) application sales, which closed on March 8, 2025. JAMB registered 2,030,627 candidates for the UTME, in addition to 200,115 for the Mock-UTME and 630 who took part in the trial mock examination.

JAMB strongly emphasizes the necessity for all candidates to meet entry requirements. Applicants are advised against submitting false declarations, with JAMB committing to enforce stringent penalties for such actions. A special committee will rigorously evaluate all submitted Advanced A Level Qualifications to prevent fraud, with any fraudulent activities being subject to prosecution. Additionally, institutions are directed to authenticate certificates directly before processing admissions.

All registrations are exclusively conducted at authorized JAMB Professional Registration Centres (PRC).
