After the Anambra State committee of investigation found that Joy Mmesoma Ejikeme had fabricated her UTME (Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination) result, Innoson Vehicles has revoked the scholarship it had previously given her.
Mmesoma acknowledged manipulating her results, according to the panel’s conclusions, which were published on Friday.
Innoson’s head of corporate communications, Cornel Osigwe, said in a statement that the company made the “difficult decision” to withdraw the scholarship “in response to the confirmed findings” on Saturday.
The Cheer News reports that she also admitted to have given a manipulated result by herself, unaided using the same phone (and) Airtel Number.
“According to her, she proceeded to the cybercafe (Prisca Global Computers, Uruagu, Nnewi) where she printed the results she had manipulated.”
“The committee tried to find out the motive behind her actions, but Ejikeme Joy Mmesoma said nothing.”
