Just In: Buhari Gets New CPSO Officer

Aliyu Abubakar Musa has been appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari to be his Chief Personal Security Officer (CPSO).

The new appointment was disclosed in a statement on Monday evening by the Senior Special Assistant to the President in Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu.

According to the state, DCP Musa, an indigene of Niger State, last served at the Zone 5 of the Nigeria Police Force, Benin City, before his new appointment.

“President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Aliyu Abubakar Musa, as his Chief Personal Security Officer (CPSO).

“DCP Musa, from Nigerian Police Force Zone 5, Benin City, as his last station, hails from Niger State.

“Musa’s appointment follows the redeployment of his predecessor, Commissioner of Police (CP) Abdulkarim Dauda”, the statement said.
