BY QADRI SALIU

Nigeria National Security Adviser (NSA), Major General Babagana Monguno (Rtd), has vowed that the country would never negotiate with terrorists and bandits.

Monguno, who said this in Abuja in the capacity of the Federal Government, posited that Nigeria would rather deploy more troops to fight than negotiating with terrorists and bandits terrorising the country.

Speaking during the weekly ministerial briefing at the State House in Abuja, Monguno vowed to eliminate the enemies of the county through the combine efforts of our military.

He believed that negotiating with the terrorists and bandits would imply weakness of the Buhari’s administration.

He said the government would not succumb to blackmail and the use of criminals by proxies to harass innocent citizens.

Monguno words: “While the government is not averse to talking it must apply the necessary force because you can’t trust these people.
