Nigerian Breweries Launches 11th Edition of Maltina Teacher of the Year 2025
The Nigerian Breweries-Felix Ohiwerei Education Trust Fund has officially announced the call for entries for the 11th and 2025 edition of the Maltina Teacher of the Year competition, a flagship initiative designed to celebrate and reward outstanding educators across Nigeria.
The announcement was made during a press event held at the Lagos Brewery Bar, Nigerian Breweries Plc, Iganmu, Lagos. Speaking at the event, Mr. Uzo Odenigbo, the Corporate Affairs Director of Nigerian Breweries Plc, emphasized the company’s unwavering commitment to uplifting the teaching profession through this annual recognition.
Entry Window Opens, Deadline Set for August 22, 2025
Educators across the country are now invited to submit their applications for this prestigious competition. According to the organizers, entries will officially close on August 22, 2025. Interested teachers are encouraged to submit their applications early and ensure all necessary documentation is completed to improve their chances of success.
The Maltina Teacher of the Year competition continues to be one of the most impactful education-based CSR initiatives in Nigeria. It serves as a platform for recognizing dedicated teachers who go above and beyond to shape the future of the nation through their work in the classroom.

Since its inception in 2015, the Maltina Teacher of the Year competition has rewarded over 100 teachers from across the country. Winners receive both financial and institutional rewards, including a cash prize, a trophy, and infrastructural support for the schools they represent.
In addition, state champions are also recognized and celebrated for their contributions, thereby elevating the status of the teaching profession within their communities.
How to Apply for Maltina Teacher of the Year 2025
