Authorities of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) have distance self from one Patrick Areghan LinkedIn Account who claimed he is the WAEC Head of National Office in Nigeria.
According to a release, the authentic HNO of WAEC in Nigeria has no account with LinkedIn.com.
The Council said the Patrick Areghan, who is parading himself as the Head of the Nigeria National Office of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) on LinkedIn is fake.

WAEC in a statement by its Head of Public Affairs, M. F. Adesina (Mrs.) said,
“Our attention has been drawn to a certain LinkedIn account, Patrick Areghan, who parades himself as the Head of the Nigeria National Office of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC).
“The Council wishes to inform the general public that the Head of National Office of WAEC-Nigeria, Mr. Patrick E. Areghan, FCGP, has no account on LinkedIn.com. Any account on the named social media platform bearing his name and photograph must be the work of an evil impostor.
“The general public is, by this information, advised to disregard any statement, comment, solicitation, or otherwise from the charlatan, whose main aim could be to defraud unsuspecting individuals.
“The Council will always communicate with the public through its verified media of communication. We remain committed to serving and preserving the education of the African child”.
