Based on the instruction from the Federal Government, the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has on Wednesday announced the reduction of the pump price of petrol to N125.

The price reduction has been approved by the President Muhammadu Buhari after the Minister of State, Petroleum Resources, Mr Timipre Sylva, briefed him on the matter.
As reported by TheCheer, a few hours ago, the Federal Government said the reduction has become necessary due to the global fall in oil price.
