“We received him very well, but with mix feelings. We were sad because of what happened to him because when your fellow human being is in this kind of situation, you are expected to be with him in that situation with him, but, we were happy that our village came to limelight; that, of all the cities in Nigeria, it was Loko that was chosen for him to come to.”

Asked whether he observed any bad feeling in Emir Sanusi, the Village Head said, He (Sanusi) was not disturbed at all, and that, he slept very well.

“He was not disturbed at all, in fact, he slept very well. He accepted his destiny. He even said, he will not challenge his dethronement in court. He also called the people to support the new Emir, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero. In fact, he sent text message congratulating the new Emir and the new Emir replied to him.” He said.

On their conversation, the Monarch of Loko disclosed that Sanusi advised them (traditional rulers) to know the way to relate with politicians.

“He advised that we should know the way to relate with politicians because there is nothing that brought this dethronement except politics.”
