Osun Govt Denies Allegation Of Purported Recruitment

The Osun government has denied reports of alleged hiring into the state civil service, calling them false.

The governor’s spokesperson, Malam Olawale Rasheed, stated this in a statement on Friday in Osogbo.

He claimed that the state was not hiring for any civil service positions.

Rasheed pleaded with the populace to ignore the information and notify the proper authorities of any attempt to scam them using the name of the state government.

The state Civil Service Commission is not currently hiring for any positions, the Osun Government wishes to inform the public.

“Any information about hiring by the Osun Government that is appearing on social media or other platforms is incorrect and deceptive.

“The public should be informed that collection of employment forms is a regular practice with all civil service Commissions regarding the subject of the selling of forms by the Civil Service Commission.

However, “such normal activity is not an indication that the state government has started recruitment exercise,” the man stated.

The public is encouraged to disregard this information, Rasheed continued, and to report any attempts to scam them while posing as the Osun State Government to the proper authorities.

“Whenever the administration is prepared to begin hiring employees, announcements will be made through official channels of the government.
