Mr. Mele Kyari, the Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL), has been immediately removed from his position by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
This is a follow-up to the continuing inquiry into his office, the proposed financial sector changes, and the unaccounted for monies related to crude oil.

Earlier today, the President suspended Mr. Godwin Emefiele, the former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), and the Department of State Services (DSS) arrested him.
