US President Donald Trump as declared March 15, 2020, as US national day prayer to seek God’s face and strength against Coronavirus pandemic.
The POTUS encouraged all citizens of the United States to pray, believing that the nation and by extension, the world, would overcome the ravaging COVID-19.
He said, “It is my great honour to declare Sunday, March 15th as a National Day of Prayer. We are a country that, throughout our history, have looked to God for protection and strength in times like these.
“No matter where you may be, I encourage you to turn towards prayer in an act of faith. Together, we will easily prevail.”
The 73-year-old president also said he had taken a Coronavirus test and that results were expected in a day or two.
He added: more than 52 Americans have died of the novel coronavirus.
