BREAKING: FG Moves To Avert NLC, TUC Strike Slated for 28 September

As the Nigeria Labour Congress and Trade Union Congress mobilise for a national strike on 28 September over hike in pump price and electricity tariff, the Federal Government has slated a meeting for Thursday to address it.

Deputy Director, Press and Public Relations, Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment, Charles Akpan said the meeting would hold at the Banquet Hall, Presidential Villa, Abuja.

It read, “The Honourable Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr Chris Ngige will be hosting a meeting with the Organised Labour.

”The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, September 24, 2020, and the venue is the Banquet Hall, Presidential Villa, by 3 pm.”
