The alleged originator of the fake marriage between President Muhammadu Buhari and Minister of Humanitarian Services, Sadiya Umar Farouq has been arrested.
Department of State Services has confirmed that one Kabiru Mohammed masterminded the phantom marriage between the duo.
Mohammed, who hails from Kano State was arrested after several months of painstaking investigations by DSS operatives.
The Punch reports that the DSS Spokesperson, Dr. Peter Afunaya confirmed the arrest of Mohammed. Afunaya on telephone said: ,“Yes, we’ve arrested the suspect, Kabiru Mohammed.”
The suspect is believed to be behind the sensational fake news complete with a widely circulated invitation card inviting guests to the wedding which never existed.
