C.A.N Leader Of Nassarawa State Kidnapped By Gunmen

The Nasarawa State Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN ) Bishop Joseph Masin has been kidnapped.

His elder son, Peace Masin, confirmed the development.

He said his father’s abductors came around 11 pm Wednesday armed with a gun and approached the house help, who was outside.

According to him: “They beat the house help and ordered her to call those who were inside. One of the ladies in the house opened the door and they gained access to the house where they took Bishop Masin away

“They were accompanied by seven armed men suspected to be Fulani herdsmen.”

He explained further up till the time of filing this report, there was no communication from them.

Immediate past Secretary of CAN in the state, Elder Yohanna Samari, also confirmed the incident in Lafia.

He said the gunmen stormed the residence in the midnight at Bukan Sidi area of Lafia the Nasarawa State capital and took him away to an unknown destination.

Commissioner of information, Dogo Shammah, also confirmed the incident.

Commissioner of Police Bola Longe said the abductors of the CAN Chairman took him away on a motorcycle.
