Chinedu Ikedieze, often known as Aki, a well-known Nigerian movie actor, has pleaded with people not to see him as a cash cow. The director said that he compared the messages sent through his social media accounts’ direct messaging features to what the Bank of Industry received.
Using his verified Instagram account to respond to requests from online fans, the renowned actor emphasized that everyone is being impacted by the country’s financial crisis.
“Guys, if I start splitting the money like that, it’s over. Imagine I was asked for $35,000 by someone. How much is it in naira? around twenty-something million. Another person wanted to start a store and asked me for $12,000 to do it.

The issue is that it doesn’t simply affect Nigerians. You people have given the impression that we have this money stored up. As though meeting your wants is a must; no! It is not required. Everyone is feeling the effects of the economic crisis. (sic)
