Steps to Check JAMB’s Released Mock Results

JAMB

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially announced the results of the 2025 Mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), which took place on Thursday, April 10, 2025.

In a release, the Spokesperson of JAMB, Dr. Fabian Benjamin said Candidates who participated can retrieve their results by sending “MOCKRESULT” to either 55019 or 66019, using the mobile number (SIM) that was registered for the examination.

This optional mock exam was implemented to evaluate the Board’s annual innovations and to provide candidates with a realistic experience of the Computer-Based Test (CBT) environment. Initially, 200,115 individuals had shown interest in participating; however, two candidates decided to withdraw, bringing the total to 200,113 registered participants.

Among those who registered, 73,844 candidates were absent on the examination day, and 88 candidates did not pass the biometric verification screening. As a result, 126,181 candidates successfully completed the examination, with results for 115,735 now accessible. Additionally, 10,446 results are still undergoing processing and will be available shortly.

We at JAMB acknowledge the delays that some candidates experienced during the examination and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. Such challenges are anticipated, particularly with the introduction of new features aimed at enhancing the overall execution of the forthcoming UTME. We appreciate the ongoing support from candidates and their parents, which is vital for helping us create a smoother process.

The mock examination functions as a simulation of the UTME, allowing the Board to test new innovations while enabling candidates to acclimate to the CBT environment. Over the years, this initiative has successfully met its goals, addressing previous shortcomings and providing candidates with essential experience for the main examination.

We encourage all candidates to continue making the necessary efforts to ensure a successful examination experience that serves their best interests.
