President-elect Joe Biden has broken a twenty-four years jinx as he narrowly won Arizona, capturing the state’s 11 electoral votes and strengthening his Electoral College margin.

Mr Biden, who won the state by about 11,000 votes, or 0.3 percentage points, is the first Democratic presidential candidate to carry the state since President Bill Clinton in 1996.
