NLC Gives FG 2-Week Ultimatum To Reverse Fuel Price, Electricity Tariff

The Nigeria Labour Congress has given the Federal Government two weeks ultimatum to reverse the hike in pump price and electricity tariff.

It warned on Wednesday that failure of the federal government to revert to the old price of fuel and electricity tariff, the Buhari led administration would face civil unrest across the country.

The Congress, therefore, conveyed this warning at its  Central Working Committee meeting in Abuja.

In a communiqué read by the NLC President, Ayuba Wabba, the union said the ultimatum takes immediate effect, warning that it would mobilize its members nationwide for a protest after September 28.
