Vice President Yemi Osinbajo (SAN) is bereaved of Inspector Ali Gomina, one of the outriders attached to him.
He died in an auto accident while escorting the Vice President to the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja. He died at the age of 45.
Mr Laolu Akande, the Senior Special Assistant to the Vice President on Media and Publicity, disclosed this.
Akande said that Osinbajo had to cancel his scheduled trip on account of his incident.

Osinbajo, while expressing sympathy over the sudden death of the late Gomina, promised never to abandon his family.
The Vice-President described the deceased as a diligent, hardworking and serious-minded officer.
”Gomina will be greatly missed by the team,” he said.
