PDP Wants Forensic Investigation Into Akure Bomb Blast

The leadership of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has tasked the Federal Government to set up an inter-agency panel to conduct a forensic investigation into the remote and immediate causes of the Akure bomb explosion that demolished over 50 houses.

They are also querying the source of the reported explosives and the purpose they were meant to serve.

The party insisted that a forensic investigation was imperative given the spate of such explosions in various parts of the country in recent time.

It also called on the Federal Government to immediately provide palliatives to the victims as well as the communities affected by the blast.
