SARS’ Extortion Of N.6m: We’ve Begin Investigation – Police

Nigeria Police Force, NPF said it has commenced investigation to the alleged extortion of N600,000 from Dennise by operatives SARS.

The Police authorities vowed to get to the root of the allegation and make the report public.

NPF via it twitter handle said: ””The Nigeria Police Force has seen the trending outcry on Twitter.  ‘The NPF has also commenced investigation into the alleged unfortunate act of extortion by “some suspected men of SARS.

”The Force wishes to assure that the outcome of the investigation will be made public.”

Mr Dennise had alleged via his twitter that some operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS defrauded him N600,000.

Dennise, is a Nigerian who based in Netherlands. He said SARS extorted N600,000 from him on his way to the east.

Mr Dennise said he paid N500,000 to men of the SARS through e-transaction. SARS, not satisfied with the N500,000 paid, it demanded balance of N100,000.
