Read Reasons Anambra Declares Monday 18, Public Holiday

Anambra State Government has declared Monday, 18th November 2019 as a public holiday to mark the 115th posthumous birthday of Nnamdi Azikiwe.

Concise News understands that the announcement came in a statement on Friday by the Head of Service of Anambra State Harry Udua.

“This is to inform the public that Anambra state government has declared Monday, 18th November 2019 as work-free day for everyone in Anambra state,” the statement said.

“This is in commemoration of the birthday of Late Hon. Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe (Owelle of Onitsha), former President of Nigeria.”
