On Saturday, a 10-year-old kid drowned in Jigawa’s Buji Local Government Area.
The spokesman for the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Jigawa State, CSC Adamu Shehu, verified this on Sunday in Dutse.

Adamu Shehu said that the youngster drowned while swimming with pals in a pond in the Lelen Kudu community. He made this claim to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
Shehu declared the boy dead by a doctor two hours after his body was discovered.
