Accountant, Two Sons Die In Auto Crash

Two of Yakubu Sakwa’s sons and a member of the Treasury Department at the Bauchi State Treasury Board were killed in a single-vehicle accident.

According to reports, they perished in the collision that happened on Saturday along the Azare-Sakwa route in Bauchi State’s Zaki Local Government Area.

Sakwa and his two children perished on the scene after the afternoon incident, according to a source in Azare who spoke to our correspondent by phone on the condition of anonymity.

The deceased, according to him, was traveling with two of his children to his village of Sakwa for a family engagement when their car’s tire broke, causing the driver to lose control and swerve off the road before crashing into a large tree next to the road.

In the aftermath of the collision, the source claims that the car was nearly split in half.

The motorist must have been traveling at a high pace, according to him, given the crash’s nature and severity.

According to him, the dead remains were interred on Saturday following a funeral prayer at Sakwa in accordance with Islamic law
