U.S Based NGO Collaborates With Bauchi State To Boost Mining

Bauchi State government has collaborated with a United States of America based NGO, Horizon Metels and Terradyn Incorporated to boost mining business in the State.

It is believed that the initiative would promote economic growth in the state.

Chairman of the Organization, Dr Breut Dyke made the pledge when he paid a courtesy visit to Bauchi State Governor, Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed at the Council Chamber, Government House Bauchi.

Dr Breut Dyke declared that the organization would conduct exploration and mining of solid commodities in addition to other developmental projects in the state which will provide job opportunities to teeming unemployed youths in the state.

The NGO Chairman then urged the state government to support and cooperate with the organization for effective implementation of its policies and programmes geared towards improving the living condition of the citizens.

While responding, Governor Bala Mohammed said that a Memorandum of Understanding would be signed for effective implementation of the NGO’s projects in the state.

The Governor pledged to work with the organization as part of efforts to find a lasting solution to some of the challenges affecting critical sectors of the state economy.
