Mr. Eze Anaba, editor of Vanguard newspapers, has been elected president of the Nigerian Guild of Editors, NGE.
Anaba who was elected Friday, triumphed over his opponent, Mr. Bolaji Adebiyi of the Western Post newspaper.
Adebiyi received 81 votes, while Anaba received 250.

For the 2023 National Biennial Convention, 341 members of the Nigeria Guild of Editors (NGE) gathered in Owerri, the capital of Imo.
“Post 2023 Election: Promoting Professionalism for Enhancing Democracy and Good Governance” is the conference’s theme.
