Caleb University bags international quality education and moral standards award

Caleb University, Imota, Lagos has bagged International Outstanding University (With Quality Education and Moral Standards) Award 2021.

The Swiss institution said “we awarded the International Outstanding University Award (With quality education and moral standards) on Caleb University Nigeria, at the World Education and Technology Summit that took place on August 28th, 2021, at the Nigerian National Merit Award House, Abuja.

The International Outstanding University Award (With Best Infrastructure, best quality education and others) is awarded to the best institution in recognition of quality education, research and exceptional services to humanity and the public”.

The institution stated inter alia “Caleb university is an important player in the educational sector and has impacted positively many generations, we have decided to invite
your university to receive this award and to share their ideas with other world-class institutions and leaders,”.

The award was presented to the institution at the World Education and Technology Summit, 2021 in Abuja by Mrs Mariarita Mercurio, the representative of the Swiss School of Business and Management, Geneva, Switzerland.

Dr Elvis Otobo, deputy director, public relations, and marketing, represented the Vice-Chancellor, Prof Nosa Owens-Ibie at the award ceremony, thanked the organizers for recognizing and awarding this prestigious global award to Caleb University.

He said the award is an affirmation of the high standards of quality education and research offered at Caleb University and the level of extraordinary moral standards prevalent among its students.

Furthermore, he postulated that the award would inspire greater commitment towards excellence among staff and students at Caleb University in conformity with the vision of its founder, Dr Ola Adebogun who has made unalloyed sacrifices towards the advancement of quality education with an emphasis on high moral standards.

In a similar vein, the distinguished and exceptional leadership qualities of the Vice-Chancellor of Caleb University, Prof Nosa Owens-Ibie, a professor of Communication, Media and Development has been globally recognized with an international Swiss leadership award in recognition of his immense contributions towards the development and transformation of the institution since he assumed duties as the Vice-Chancellor of Caleb University.
