EFCC Quiz Dauda To Prove $20,000 Extortion Allegations Against Senator Sani 

Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has quizzed, the owner of ASD Motors, Dauda, the acusser of Senator Shehu Sani, over alleged extortion of $20,000.

The anti-graft agency has requested Dauda to prove his allegation against the senator.

This is just as Senator Shehu Sani, who was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission currently seeking bail after he was accused of extortion, SaharaReporters reported

Sani, a vocal critic of President Muhammadu Buhari, was arrested for allegedly extorting $20,000 from Sani Dauda, owner of ASD Motors.

SaharaReporters reports that findings however, showed that the EFCC arrested the former senator before seeking out his accuser to prove his innocence.

A source familiar with the case said, “He is seeking bail at the moment.”

Dauda had been asked by the anti-graft agency to prove his allegation against the senator.
