GSS Hostel Inferno: 200 Stranded Students Yet Unattended To In Benue

The over 200 students of Government Secondary School, Gboko, Benue State whose hostel was razed by fire on Wednesday are stranded.

The affected students are still seeking where to sleep after the fire incident that razed down their hostel on Wednesday.

A visit by The Nation confirmed that the status quo remains as the students were unattended to.

Besides, it was gathered that the inferno also affected the male hostel, destroying several documents, cash, foodstuff and other valuables belongings to students.

It was further confirmed that a part of the red house of the Male hostel was also affected by ravaging fire.

At the time of filing this report, the cause of the inferno was yet to ascertained.
