15-Year-Old Breaks JAMB’s Record

Lotanna Azuokeke, a 15-year-old student at Bishop Otubelu Juniorate in Trans Ekulu, Enugu, received 99 out of 100 in mathematics in the recently completed Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.

Lotanna Azuokeke, 15, received a total of 337 marks in the exam, according to a statement made by Dr. Chiwuike Uba, media adviser to the bishop of the diocese of Nike (Anglican Communion), the school’s founder. This information was provided to the News Agency of Nigeria.

Lotanna Azokeke, a native of Ba in the Idemmili South LGA of Anambra State, reportedly received 88 in chemistry, 86 in physics, and 64 in English, according to Uba.

“Azokeke broke the record set by Chidera Obi, who scored 329 marks to win the overall contest five years ago,” he stated.

The University of Nigeria, Nsukka received an application from Azuokeke to pursue electrical/electronic engineering.

Over 1,586,765 applicants took the test at 708 CBT centers located in 105 test cities nationwide.
