Muyinat Mimiko, the mother of ex- Governor of Ondo State, Olusegun Mimiko, is dead.
The former governors mother died on Friday night at her residence in Ondo State.She was at the age of 88.
Mimiko’s aide, Paul Akinduro, confirmed the octogenarian’s death to journalists on Saturday.

He said: “The 88-year-old mother of former Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, Mama Muinat Mosekola Mimiko, fondly called ‘Iye Ruka’ has gonehome to rest. We miss her dearly.”
