BREAKING: Sevilla Clinch 2020 UEFA Europa League

Sevilla, the Spanish side have beaten Inter Milan 3-2 in Cologne, Germany, to clinch the 2020 UEFA Europa League title on Friday.

Luuk de Jong scored twice in the 12th and 33rd minute for Sevilla, cancelling out Romelu Lukaku’s early goal from the spot for Inter Milan five minutes into the minute.

Diego Godin later scored an equalizer for Inter Milan, but Diego Carlos had the final word, scoring the winner for Sevilla in the 74th minute

Regretable, Inter Milan vied for their first piece of European silverware in ten years when they took on record-champions Sevilla in the UEFA Europa League final at the Rhein Energie Stadion, Cologne on Friday but could not win.

Antonio Conte’s side breezed past Shakhtar Donetsk 5-0 in the semi-finals to advance, while Sevilla recorded a 2-1 win over Manchester United to book their position in the final once again. While Inter will go into the final with a rich vein of form, winning each of their last six matches in all competitions, Sevilla will bring a 20-game unbeaten run into the contest.

Interestingly, the final will be the first-ever meeting between the two sides in European competition.
