The Abuja Defense Headquarters’ second story has been completely destroyed by fire.
As at the time this report was filed, the reason for the Monday night fire outbreak remained unknown.
Maj.-Gen. Jimmy Akpor, the director of defense information, verified the incident and explained how it was resolved.
He claimed that the military and Federal Fire Service officials worked together to bring the situation under control.
“With no injuries or fatalities, all personnel and civilian workers were likewise evacuated.
As a result, life has returned to normal. The fire incident’s cause is currently the subject of an investigation.
He said, “We appreciate the Federal Fire Service and the general public’s continuing support and well wishes for the Nigerian Armed Forces.
