Three Children In Abuja Escape From Kidnappers’ Den

Three teenage Fulani boys who had been kidnapped by bandits at Gwanda in the Gurdi Ward of the Abaji Area Council of Abuja have managed to escape after their kidnappers fell asleep.
The distance between Gwanda and the nearby Gulida village is around one kilometer.
Three teenage children were taken on Tuesday night, according to Wozhe Ishaya, a councilor who represents Gurdi Ward, who verified the children’s escape to our reporter on the phone on Thursday.

Around 11 o’clock, he claimed, the bandits broke into the Fulani hamlet in the neighborhood and abducted the three lads, ages 12, 14, and 16, respectively.
The three teenage Fulani boys sneakily escaped from their den back to their settlement in Gwanda village, but as God would have it, the bandits were asleep and had not yet tied them.
He claimed that bandits also stole some rams and killed them in their den.
Abubakar Sadauna, the district chief of Gulida, who also confirmed the incident, condemned bandit attacks on the neighborhood.
A text message about an update was sent to DSP Adeh Josephine, the FCT Police Command’s spokesman, but she has not yet responded.
